Hand Painted Wooden Talking Board and Planchette.
Buzzing Spirits has a medium to light wood stain background with silver lettering. There is a classic sun and moon in the upper corners with a cute simplistic girl face in each one. There is a wasp, spider and a cicada decorating the spaces between, each with a simple girls face drawn on the thorax of each bug. The planchette is the same medium brown with a small fly with a girls face painted on its thorax in the center.
This board was inspired by my LADYBug series. Each of my LADYBugs is has been hand painted and pieced together with several layers of folded and curved paper to create 3D pieces of art. While the board is two dimensional, it still brings the same creativity and whimsical charm as the paper LADYBugs.
